Mariam Lakhdhir, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant at DuPage Psychiatric Care LLC, dedicated to providing compassionate mental health care. Mariam’s expertise extends across a wide spectrum of mental health diagnoses, including depression, anxiety, OCD, trauma, PTSD, insomnia, panic attack, personality disorder, phobic and eating disorders and ADHD. Mariam specializes in working with a diverse patient population across all ages. She offers a comprehensive approach to medication management, supportive psychotherapy that emphasizes active listening and the strengthening of coping skills. 

Mariam was a doctor in Pakistan and has completed her Physician Assistant degree from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. Mariam understands that every individual is unique, and their mental health needs and goals deserve individualized attention and care. 

She is well-equipped to address a wide range of mental health concerns and serves as an advocate for her patients. With an inclusive approach, she is well-versed in providing culturally sensitive support to individuals, including LGBTQIA+, recognizing the unique challenges and nuances that may arise within this diverse and dynamic population.
